Desert Breeze Distributing is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We believe everyone should be able to browse, learn about, and purchase our products comfortably.
Conformance status
In July 2026 this website underwent a comprehensive accessibility audit and remediation, including hands-on keyboard and zoom testing. To the best of our knowledge, the site now conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've done
- Full keyboard navigation, including a skip-to-content link and clearly visible focus indicators — including on product size and color choices
- Color contrast meeting WCAG AA on text, prices, form fields, and messages
- Descriptive labels on all forms, buttons, and controls for screen reader users
- Alternative text on images and descriptive titles on embedded videos
- Support for browser zoom up to 200% and pinch-to-zoom on mobile
- A pause control on the homepage slideshow, which also starts paused for visitors whose devices request reduced motion
- Clear heading structure and page landmarks for assistive technology
Limitations
Some third-party features — such as embedded videos, payment provider forms, and security verification — are provided by outside companies and may not fully conform to the same standards. We choose these providers with accessibility in mind wherever possible.
