Medical sheepskin is shorn to 1 inch for care support. It is not the long, loose wool of a decorative sheepskin rug, and it won’t feel like a thick, fluffy cushion. Size
About 25 inches across at the widest point (the middle) and 41 inches long, in the natural shape of the pelt. On a bed it covers the shoulder-to-hip area of one person. It is not a full-mattress pad. Genuine single pelt, chrome-free tanned, odor free

Breathable wool
Wool fibers wick moisture away from the skin and let air move, so the resting surface stays drier than foam or synthetic fleece. Wool is also a natural insulator, so it feels warm. That’s a comfort in a cool room, but if your loved one runs hot, use it in an air-conditioned room or under a light cotton sheet. The pressure relief works either way. On a bed, tuck it under the fitted sheet to hold it in place. On a vinyl seat, lay it flat and smooth it out.
Easy care
- Shake it out and brush the wool between washes.
- Machine wash on gentle in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry.
- Outback Gold Wool Wash cleans and conditions the sheepskin with lanolin, which keeps the wool soft.
